1. Scope and Nature of the Warranty

All products sold by Xpress Supply LLC are covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty, the duration and terms of which depend on the brand and model of the purchased product.

Xpress acts solely as an authorized distributor and does not provide independent warranties on equipment or parts.

Xpress does not guarantee product performance, lifespan, or compatibility beyond the coverage expressly provided by the manufacturer.

2. Manufacturer Warranties

Each manufacturer establishes its own warranty terms. In general:

  • Rheem® and Carrier® equipment: limited coverage of 5 to 10 years on compressors and parts, subject to professional installation and online registration within 60 days of purchase.
  • Electrical parts, controls, thermostats, or accessories: 1-year warranty (depending on the manufacturer).
  • HVAC materials and supplies (copper, ducts, drains, bases, etc.): warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover normal wear, misuse, or improper handling.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To maintain manufacturer warranty coverage, the customer must comply with all of the following conditions:

  • Installation must be performed by an HVAC technician holding an active Texas license (TACLA).
  • The equipment must be registered on the manufacturer’s website within the required period (generally within 60 days of purchase or installation).
  • The product must not have been modified, altered, or serviced by unauthorized personnel.
  • The customer must retain the original invoice, serial number, and proof of installation.
  • The equipment must have been operated according to the manufacturer’s instructions and properly maintained on a regular basis.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover, under any circumstances:

  • Installation, removal, or diagnostic costs
  • Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect electrical or gas connections, refrigerant leaks, or improperly sized ductwork
  • Cosmetic damage or damage caused by transportation, weather conditions, humidity, lightning, or force majeure events
  • Equipment repaired or modified without manufacturer authorization
  • Indirect losses, including lost profits, downtime, labor costs, transportation, or equipment rental expenses
  • Clearance items, products without serial numbers, or refurbished products

Manufacturer warranties are limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component only. No policy includes a full refund or immediate replacement of the entire system unless expressly authorized by the manufacturer.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

1️⃣ Verify Product Registration

Confirm that the equipment has been properly registered with the manufacturer.

2️⃣ Contact Xpress Supply LLC

Send an email to support@xpressacsupply.com including the order number, product serial number, description of the issue, and photographs.

3️⃣ Evaluation and Guidance

Xpress will determine whether the issue falls under the manufacturer’s warranty or results from an installation-related problem.

4️⃣ Manufacturer Claim Processing

If applicable, Xpress will process the claim and serve as the liaison for replacement authorization or service orders.

5️⃣ Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

If a replacement is approved, the defective product must be returned in accordance with our Return Policy.

6. Warranty Replacements

  • Replacement products or parts are provided at no charge for the product itself; however, labor, shipping, installation, and refrigerant costs are not included.
  • The customer is responsible for transporting the defective part unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.
  • Any replaced part becomes the property of the manufacturer.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Texas law:

  • Xpress Supply LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of time, lost profits, or reinstallation costs.
  • Any liability of Xpress related to a warranty claim shall be strictly limited to the value of the product sold.
  • This Policy does not expand, replace, or modify the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.

8. Customer Recommendations

  • Keep all documentation, including invoices, serial numbers, and proof of installation.
  • Do not remove or uninstall any component without written confirmation from the manufacturer or Xpress.
  • Avoid filing claims directly with Rheem or Carrier without including the Xpress purchase order number, as this helps expedite traceability and processing.
  • If you have questions, always contact support@xpressacsupply.com first.

9. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, including the Texas Business & Commerce Code, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §2301 et seq.), and Federal Trade Commission regulations regarding consumer warranties.
